Virtual platforms have produced significant changes in education and thanks to these new forms of knowledge transfer are produced. Students born in the technological age have characterisTIC that emphasize the need for changes in educational systems. With the use of Information and Communication Technologies, new paradigms are being created in the training process and an intensive use of all technological means and computer applications is being promoted in universities, helping to reduce the time of activities that were once complicated in its process and development. The article aims to: expose the advantages of using the Moodle platform in the teaching of MathemaTIC at the University of Cienfuegos "Carlos Rafael Rodríguez" as an alternative to technology-assisted teaching.
