The achievement of a correct learning development is reflected in academic performance. Knowing how students learn is a vital aspect of the academic process in the classroom, besides becoming an important tool to adapt pedagogical activities to their interests and motivations. The objective of this research is to demonstrate how learning styles are related to the level of academic performance in the Entrepreneurship course for students of the Systems Engineering program at the Universidad Regional Autónoma de Los Andes, Uniandes-Ecuador. The type of research is substantive, with a descriptive level and correlational design. First, the different learning styles of the students were identified according to the Honey-Alonso questionnaire. The sample obtained was of the total population, 109 students of the Entrepreneurship course of the Systems Engineering career. Then the grades obtained by these students were analyzed according to the evaluation methods developed in the course. Among the main results, it was found that the most predominant learning styles are pragmatic, followed by active and reflective.
