At present, higher education faces important challenges at a time when the transition of the different training models is gaining strength. In such circumstances it is necessary to rethink the role of the teacher in the application of proposals based on the thinking of interconnection of the curriculum in which it is necessary to assess the relationships established between teachers, students, information and communication technologies (ICT), evaluation, contents, activities, didactic techniques and methodologies that acquire a primary importance in the different training scenarios, above all, those that favor an active role of the student, meaningful learning, collaboration and autonomy. The article presented addresses the articulation of didactic techniques with the use of active methodologies in higher education, by placing the student at the center of the teaching and learning process, so that it is articulated with the different experiences that have been developed in higher education among which are: active methodologies, information and communication technologies as tools to promote this type of methodology, highlighting their use in the treatment of content, as a support for the method of teaching and learning and as a resource for evaluation.
