Traditional knowledge and, in particular, technoproductive fishing knowledge is of great importance in Integrated Coastal Zone Management (IZCM) as well as in the 2030 Agenda. Small-scale fishing communities are key social actors in this process and are bearers of this knowledge, which includes habits and thought structures that organize social life based on daily experience. This work aims to determine the contributions of traditional knowledge in Integrated Coastal Zone Management from an integrated and interdisciplinary perspective and in terms of the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The qualitative research used document analysis, participant observation and in-depth interviews, as well as fieldwork in coastal community of Castillo de Jagua-Perché was identified from the Integrated Coastal Zone Management approach. The recording of traditional technoproductive fishing knowledge and good practices in the Castillo de Jagua-Perché community constitute necessary actions for the sustainable development of coastal zones, which reveals the importance of coastal resource management by the communities.
