Through virtual learning environments, educational stakeholders develop academic functions with no geographical and temporal restrictions. During this process, elements that facilitate communication, interaction and knowledge management are involved. Therefore, the objective of the study was to analyze the learning styles preferred by Pedagogía Program students and their adaptability to the virtual education. The methodology was based on a quantitative approach, and a descriptive type of study, mainly. In addition, it responds to a non-experimental cross-sectional design, in which the target population was represented by 109 e-learners of the Pedagogía Program of University National Autonomous in the Western region of Honduras. VARK test, CHAEA test and an instrument about e-learning were applied to them. According to the scores, from highest to lowest, the results revealed that the dominant learning styles are: reflective, theoretical and pragmatic. Likewise, the sensory modal preferences obtained: Kinesthetic, reading-writing, auditory and visual. Likewise, pedagogical-academic, technological and psychological factors, which were also identified, as follows: motivation, management and mastery of digital literacy, guidance and in timely feedback from the professor, the application of a variety of didactic strategies, in adition, communication and effective interaction among participants synchronously and asynchronously.
