Resumen

ANCHUNDIA PAREDES, Rosario Verónica  y  NAVARRETE PITA, Yulexy. Incidence of family overprotection in the autonomous development of the child of Initial I and II of the Educational Unit of the Province of Manabí, Cascol. Varona [online]. 2021, n.73, pp. 83-97.  Epub 02-Dic-2021. ISSN 1992-8238.

The affective development in a child is fundamental because it constitutes the process through which the individual develops the affective part and interprets it. These are the feelings that one has towards others, which last for a long period of time and are the result of the emotions that people feel for something or someone. The present work emphasizes the importance of the family as the governing and main entity in the upbringing and education of children. It is important to raise and educate children in a healthy environment, full of affection; but it is also important to teach them to develop on their own, avoiding overprotecting them in everything they do. The concept of overprotection will be analyzed from the perspective of different authors, the effects of child overprotection and the importance of play in a child's life. The main objective is to develop an activity guide that allows contributing to the autonomous development of children with family overprotection of Initial level I and II.

Palabras clave : affection; autonomous development; emotional development; family; child overprotection.
