Resumen

MOTITO-LEGRA, José Alberto; ROSSEAUX-REVE, Osmel  y  DEL TORO-ALVAREZ, Dania. Study of Industrial Waste Water in a Sugar Factory UEB "Paquito Rosales". RTQ [online]. 2014, vol.34, n.3, pp. 215-229. ISSN 2224-6185.

He occupies this work of the esteem of the flows of extracts that are generated in the process of obtaining of cane sugar, through the technical evaluation of fundamental teams of the process, that will permit in a posterior stage to evaluate the functioning of the system of treatment of residual liquids generated in the Central Sugar Little Reddish UEB's technological process Rose Bushes, located at the municipality San Luis. The fundamental equations of the balances of mass and energy permitted estimating the flow of extract generated in each one of the teams of the process, the ones that submitted to at a later time a physical analysis - chemical, of whom proven to be demonstrated that 44 % of these flow intensities are contaminated with sugar, according to the classification of light, half traces and fortresses. Once once the flows of extracts were estimated it was proceeded to estimating the efficiency of the system of treatment of the residual liquid for the year 2012, being the same one belonging to a 20 % of efficiency, which meets underneath the range established in standards (85-90 %); That demonstrates the impairment of function of that system of treatment.

Palabras clave : Extracts; system of treatment; residual.
