CASTANEDA VALDES, Abel et al. Economical contribution of atmospheric corrosion and material’s decay studies in strategical zones of the tropical coastal climate of Cuba. RTQ [online]. 2020, vol.40, n.1, pp. 52-67. ISSN 2224-6185.

Several atmospheric corrosion and material’s decay studies has been carried out in Cuba recently in strategical coastal zones of the country with of elevated constructive potential. The results obtained in view to solve the problematic of anticipated decay of the infrastructure are being applied recently by diverse organizations of the central administration of the estate directly related with construction works. The economical contribution of these studies is a fundamental key for their applicability. It is shown that a significant economical contribution could be directly related with the improvement of the technological processes in the construction industry, based in the attainment of the construction materials. Elevated durability periods and useful life were obtained in coastal zones of the country with elevated constructive potential, manifested as a reduction in the time of expensive repairing works in all the infrastructure, also representing a significant economical contribution as savings in the construction industry in Cuba.
