Resumen

SUAREZ ROMAN, Gipsis; GONZALEZ GRIEGO, Antonio Mario; FERNANDEZ ROMERO, Tammy  y  GONZALEZ RAMIREZ, Victoria Esther. Determination of IgG antibodies to double-chain DNA by ELISA using the xenogenic and allogenic DNA as coat . Rev Cubana Invest Bioméd [online]. 2008, vol.27, n.2, pp. 0-0. ISSN 1561-3011.

Obtaining of the xenogenic DNA used as coat of a indirect enzymoimmunoassay, to determine IgG antibodies to double-chain DNA is difficult, and also it is very expensive. Thus, aim of this paper is to valuate usefulness of allogenic DNA as coat antigen to detect these antibodies. As coat we used DNA from calf thymus, and DNA from 6 subjects supposedly healthy. Analysis of presence of antibodies war carried out in sera from 16 individuals with diagnosis of systemic lupus erythematosus. There was a 100% of coincidence in results, as well as a few differences in discrimination ability of method using the two types of DNA. According above mentioned, we conclude that human DNA is useful as coat of this enzymoimmunoassay. Achievement of such antigen is less expensive than that of DNA from calf thymus.

Palabras clave : Enzymoimmunoassay; Igantibodies to double-chain DNA; xenogenic DNA; allogenic DNA.
