The research was conducted in the Office of the Curator of the City of Cienfuegos (OCCC) in order to make a diagnosis of internal communication. Specifically, it is evaluated: the conceptualization of communication as well as the components of the communication process. The study is based on the method and techniques such as document review, participant observation, in-depth interview and group discussion. The main results of diagnostic express a shared perception among leaders and workers about the channels used: direct and mediated and circulation of messages task and humans. One of the elements that are required strengthened relations between workers of the departments for which actions should be planned communicative matter from an internal strategy
