The present work has as title "The Game in Preschool Education. Historical Foundations, the same is developed on the basis of the approaches of the History of Education in the formation of the professional today require a treatment of historical research, pedagogical to delve into the past of the facts, phenomena, personalities or educational processes through working with the historical sources. Selecting this theme with the objective to support the story of the game through the course of humanity and the different meanings and spaces that have been given to know the different universal and Cuban educators as a powerful means of education for the education of the children of 0 to 6 years. This allows us to give the students in training in the course of education to deepen the historical conceptions of the game and put into practice in the knowledge of the particular methodologies and in his educational practice in the different institutions where they work.
