This article addresses reflections and conceptions, in relation to the development of professional interests and the teaching vocation, recognized as a process that implies an efficient performance in the professional field, due to its significance in the provision for the activity and modes of action of the professional. It is derived from research results in the area of teacher training, with the purpose of improving the indicators that mark quality in professional performance
