ALZURI BARRUETA, Noharis Sochi; LOPEZ RODRIGUEZ DEL REY, María Magdalena y TORRES CALZADILLA, Zaydelys Lucrecia. The teaching of literature in the university initial training process. Conrado [online]. 2020, vol.16, n.76, pp. 63-67. Epub 02-Oct-2020. ISSN 1990-8644.
The teaching of Literature in the university initial training process poses, with very few exceptions, a dominantly expository character. However, every-day practice and experience impose the use of new ways in order to facilitate student's more active and participative exchange. In a world where globalization, the impact of information and communication technologies, the administration of knowledge and the need to sponsor and promote diversity programs are so evident aspects, university students must be guided in their initial training process to read in such a way that reading for knowledge does not antagonize with the pleasure of reading any type of text. Reading should become an activity of enlightening, enjoyment, fun, and knowledge acquisition.
