Health sciences careers, generally in many countries, once completed, a certification or professional exam is carried out that tries to measure that the applicant has the competencies that have been reflected in a graduate profile for the career. Different instruments are used to evaluate, among these tests that measure competencies, there is the OSCE test (Objective Structures Clinical Examination) or Objective and Structured Clinical Evaluation (ACOE), this test contains different evaluation methods. Another method used for these certification exams is multiple-choice objectives. Each with its advantages and disadvantages. The Inter-Institutional Council for Basic Certification in Pharmacy, which is part of the Ministry of Health of Panama, is the one that has the role of managing this exam and therefore the evaluation of this exam is necessary and see if the results are a reflection of how the Students acquire the competencies set for this exam.
