A leader is an individual who fosters an environment devoid of threats and who contributes with their attitudes to create a healthy and safe environment, with a shared vision necessary in today's society. The educational model to improve the directive leadership of the educational institution Carlos Augusto Salaverry of the city of Sullana in 2020 takes these budgets into account, it was carried out by applying as an instrument a questionnaire that consisted of 4 dimensions and 24 questions, the research was of applied type, under the quantitative approach and a non-experimental descriptive / purposeful transactional design was used with a sample of 30 teachers. Reliability was also considered through McDonald's Omega coefficient, which was 0.994. Among its results we can indicate that there is a low level of leadership of the manager, so an educational model is proposed that allows the director to improve his function.
