GONZALEZ ESPINO, Yaneisy. Influential factors in academic responsibility in Chinese teachers from Cepes-University of Havana. Conrado [online]. 2022, vol.18, n.84, pp. 74-83.  Epub 10-Feb-2022. ISSN 1990-8644.

A study was conducted with a group of Chinese students, enrolled in the Master of Science in Higher Education course of the Center for Studies for the Improvement of Higher Education (CSIHE) at the University of Havana. The aim of this study was to identify the factors that influence the academic responsibility of these students, as the guiding value of a teaching that originates in the Chinese family. This work shows the results, based on criteria related to the solution of problems in the classroom, the command of the Spanish language, the assumption of criticism and self-criticism, participation with others in the classroom, the level of interest for the study, homework completion, work and assessment. These criteria enabled the development and application of instruments for the collection of current information on academic responsibility in this group of Chinese teachers, by identifying contextual and intercultural factors such as their values, the family background and their command of the Spanish language.

Palabras clave : Academic responsibility; command of the Spanish language; Chinese teachers.
