The formation of a historical culture as a necessity of the current Cuban school is a topic of great importance at the present time, because through historical culture it is possible to address and understand the effective and affective relationship of a human group of the past, both from the point of from a material and spiritual point of view, which includes the procedures used for its creation and transmission in the process of historical-social practice, and its significant aspect is that it is expressed and specified in values; it takes into account where we come from, how we are, and why and consequently where we are going. Therefore, promoting their training allows us to understand the national and global reality in which we live. However, in pedagogical practice, little mastery of the requirements that must be contextualized about said term in the teaching-learning process of the History of Cuba is confirmed, verified both in knowledge checks and in systematic observations. That is why in the work that is presented some requirements are proposed that contribute to the formation of a Historical culture in primary school. To arrive at the main results, we started from the initial verification and the application of theoretical and empirical instruments. The application of the instruments made clear the need for the formation of a historical culture. All of the above made changes possible from arranging situations that lead to the development of a community culture tempered to our times.
