Resumen

CORREA MARTINEZ, Aranxa; NARVAEZ ZURITA, Cecilia Ivonne  y  ERAZO ALVAREZ, Juan Carlos. The development of digital competencies in the practice of teleworking in México city. Conrado [online]. 2023, vol.19, n.92, pp. 87-96.  Epub 30-Jun-2023. ISSN 1990-8644.

Although the Covid-19 health crisis prompted the use of telework in companies in different regions of the world, telework had already been adopted. This practice has challenged not only the satisfaction that employees experience with this type of system, but also the need to acquire and implement digital competencies in the face of scenarios that are dynamic as a consequence of the accelerated progress of technology. Thus, this study aims to identify the technological skills required in teleworking among employees in different sectors in Mexico City. To measure basic and intermediate digital skills and job satisfaction, a 28-item instrument was applied. Thus, the majority of employees claimed to be satisfied and to have mastered the essential tools for remote work, despite the non-compliance of organisations with the Mexican Telework Standard.
