The training of educators constitutes a transcendental process in Cuban Pedagogy, taking educational research as references to address the needs that emerge from social development, in order to achieve quality in education, taking as a priority the objectives of the 2030 Agenda. In harmony with the above, it is important to promote recreational skills from the potential of the contents of the classes with the most relevance in the training of the Education professional. Preschool. These aspects opportunely reveal the potential of play and its connotation in the training process, with special attention to the III Improvement of the National Education System. This article offers methodological suggestions to teachers of general pedagogical training for the development of recreational skills in students. The structural analysis-synthesis and systemic methods as well as observations and interviews facilitated the fulfillment of the investigated process according to the proposed objective.
