The fruits of Solanumjamaicense Mill were isolated and identified nine steroidal compounds, through chromatographic and spectroscopic studies of H-NMR and C13- NMR. The identified compounds are Solasodine, Solasodieno, Diosgenin, Diene Diosgenin, Yucagenin, Yamogenin, Tigogenin, Soladuldicin and Clorogenin.
