In this article, a proposal for the representation of the Documentary fond “Frente Cívico de Mujeres Martianas” of the Historic Affairs Office is presented, using the entities, attributes and relationships included in the first version of the “Records in Contexts” Conceptual model of the International Council on Archives. Firstly, the causes of the appearance of the conceptual models and its nexus with the critiques to the international standards of Archival description are pointed. Then, the published conceptual models of Archival description are introduced. The specific use of the “Records in Contexts” Conceptual model in the process of Archival description is explained and some related suggestions are made. The content and presentation of the information in some attributes are regulated by an institutional standard, which indicates the flexibility and applicability of the conceptual model in different contexts by means of the intermediation of supporting standards. Entity-relation diagrams and description tables are used for the representation of the fond in substitution of an information system based on the specific lineaments of the conceptual model.
