Introduction:

Infographics adapted to educational needs is a didactic and pedagogical resource that facilitates meaningful learning and improves cognition. The use of infographics is an interdisciplinary and transversal resource that facilitates the learning of diverse contents.

Objective:

Introduce and systematize Infographics in the teaching and learning process in the Telecommunications career.

Methods:

The best experiences of authors on topics such as: design methods, design tools, fonts, user heuristics, content analysis of the analytical program, use of color, semiotics of icons in radio communications, preparation and evaluation of infographics and methods of student participation.

Results:

In the subjects Radio Communication Systems (I and II) during the 2020 and 2021 academic year of the Universidad de Oriente; First evaluation, 100% of the students obtained a grade of 5 points, second evaluation, 80% of the students obtained 5 points and the rest 4 points. In the final evaluation, 75.5% of the students reached 5 points and the rest 4 points.

Conclusions:

The use of infographics as a didactic tool in the teaching process has favored the teaching and learning of Telecommunications, as well as the academic performance of students.
