Resumen
MORELL, F; HERNANDEZ, A; BORGES, Yenia y MARENTES, Francy L. Arbuscular mycorhizal fungal activity on soil structure. cultrop [online]. 2009, vol.30, n.4, pp. 00-00. ISSN 1819-4087.
Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) are symbionts associated to most terrestrial plants and have an important role in soil aggregation. However, there is a debate regarding how much soil aggregates depend primarily on particle grilled by fungal hyphae or organic substrate exudation such as glomalin. This review also considers whether glomalin really plays a key role on soil aggregation or if it is simply a fungal physiological function byproduct.
Palabras clave : arbuscular mycorrhizae; mycelium; soil structural units.
