CABRERA BERREZUETA, Bolívar. A Teaching Strategy as a Mechanism for Enhancing Professional Performance of Professors of the Catholic University of Cuenca. Rev. Cubana Edu. Superior [online]. 2016, vol.35, n.1, pp. 41-50. ISSN 0257-4314.
A teaching strategy as a mechanism for facing fortuitous and even problematic situations starts by admitting the fact that quality of teaching-learning process needs to be improved by making good use of information and communication technologies, and that professors have a poor professional performance. In advanced educational theory, a teaching strategy is seen as a model contributing to the enhancement of professors' professional performance. A strategy includes its bases, goals, stages and enhancement ways it suggests. In the context of Ecuador's educational system, a teaching strategy contributes to the improvement of both teaching-learning and training processes. In this work, professors of the Faculty of Educational Sciences and Social Communication of the Catholic University of Cuenca are taken as case study.
