The present work is aimed at showing the educational model of the Technical University of Manabí as from the analysis of its evolution and its functionality. A proposal is stated for its elaboration based on the consideration of different aspects of the environment, integrated with the policies, tendencies and mission of the organization, which give the proposed educational model a working platform to direct the actions of the university on the bases of a well-defined policy and principles that work as a strategy for the university development.
