The demands of the university environment lead organizations to improve the management of their processes to fulfill their social mandate. The cultural facilities of the university managed from the extension process contribute to the systematic university-society dialogue. That is why the objective of this research is to socialize the praxis of university cultural institutions from the quality management approach, contributing to the university-society link. A concurrent mixed investigation was carried out, based in theoretical and empirical methods. The results showed that the management of the cultural facilities allowed the interrelation of the sub-processes of the university extension macro-process, as well as the interaction with the rest of the substantive processes. Actors and users expressed high satisfaction with the university cultural facilities that enable the university-society link.
