ABSTRACT: Families in which there is a person with a disability constitute a population at risk, which does not mean that they will necessarily present psychiatric disorders, but that there are probabilities that these may appear. It is necessary for the intervening professionals to be able to support and accompany these families from the moment of diagnosis and in other crisis situations that they go through throughout their life cycle. The results of the diagnosis made to a sample of people with disabilities and their caregivers belonging to the Flavio Alfaro parish, showed that they do not have knowledge of how to handle this type of conflicts that occur daily in their homes; there is no fluid exchange with people specialized in the subject to be able to face this problem and act on it. This situation constitutes a problem that affects a high percentage of vulnerable people and therefore one of the ways to help them is through a plan of activities that contemplate concrete actions where the educational component is present. The main objective of the research is to describe the intrafamily conflicts that occur between disabled people and their families.
