Resumen

The present work proposes a comparative study and some ideas about the pedagogical treatment of interlanguage relations between Spanish and Portuguese and vice versa, identifying in the first couple the Spanish as mother or source language and Portuguese as non-mother or target language, also known as L-1 and L-2, respectively.

The author is based on several studies, on his teaching experience and on his work as Secretary of the Havana University Portuguese Board for the Upgrading of Teaching and/or Scientific Categories and develops his research through reflections that could be very useful for those interests.
