Resumen

The article presents the research results on the ways of articulation of undergraduate and postgraduate and its trajectory in Latin America in order to suggest operational elements that can smooth the transit. The research approach was a bibliographic review of the foundations and experiences related to the articulation of undergraduate and graduate programs in Colombia and Latin America, and a documentary study on normative frameworks and experiences in favor of this connection in Colombia. The study highlights the need to recognize collaborative strategies with a transdisciplinary and cross-cultural nature in search of solutions and articulations of the education levels, as well as to put pressure on the course structure still prevailing in the educational models of the country and the region. A system for the recognition of creations, obvious novelties, and good professional and organizational practices that can be incorporated into the curricula of higher education processes is required.
