Creating and taking advantage of the capabilities offered by science, technology and innovation is essential to achieve a true sovereignty, sustainability and prosperity in the country. That is why scientific research in health is promoted at all levels and institutions in the sector as a tool for analysis and decision-making, the introduction of technologies and the development of science in order to improve the health status of the population. The management of science and innovation in the health sector of the Villa Clara province increasingly favours territorial and national alliances in projects through sectoral, intersectoral and multidisciplinary alternatives. In this article, the main results of science and innovation in the health sector in the territory during 2021 are socialized as an indicator of the management of science and its commitment to society. Timely introduction of the scientific and technical results are a need and a state and scientific community's responsibility; the success then lies in achieving adequate management in its introduction, from the very institution where they are obtained, to the provincial and national levels.
