MEDINA PADILLA, Miguel Eduardo y PEREZ MONTILLA, María Alejandra. Urban water demand: Metropolitan Aqueduct of Mérida. Some thoughts about the demand value. Ing. hidrául. ambient. [online]. 2022, vol.43, n.1, pp. 92-103. Epub 22-Feb-2022. ISSN 2788-6050.
Estimating water demand for urban supply is a procedure that can be complex, but it must have, depending on what is needed, a high degree of precision that allows planning, at different levels, the use of the resource. The application of the Component Methodology for the case of the metropolitan aqueduct of Mérida, Venezuela is presented, making some reflections that pose situations to be taken into account by planners in hydrological companies, and by project engineers in general.
