Tactile technology is being used in different areas, however, for the adoption in the educational field and especially in the education of students with cognitive impairments, physical, autism, Down syndrome and deaf has not been used despite the many advantages it has. The objective is to implement a software based on touch screens for teaching students with special abilities of the educational unit for the deaf and the special education institute of Ibarra, Ecuador in order to facilitate teaching both in the classroom and at home. The software will improve the learning of students with special abilities. A survey applied to the people involved is presented through which the needs are identified.
