The purpose of this research is to analyze how active methodologies and ICTs contribute to learning environments in education. The methodology used is of transversal cohort with a qualitative epistemological approach, bibliographic description, exploratory. As for the population and sample, the articles indexed in the databases redalyc, Scopus, Scielo, latindex, web of science, among others, were considered. Thus, comparisons have been made with different graphs on active methodologies such as Problem Based Learning [PBL], Collaborative Learning and Gamification. With all this, it is proposed to all those involved in the field of education, the application of these methodologies, to produce meaningful learning and ensure that students develop critical thinking. Another important factor is the inclusion of information and communication technologies as resources or tools that support interlearing. There is no doubt that the use of active methodologies accompanied by technological tools allows students to participate in the construction of their knowledge in an active and participatory manner, and can be applied at different levels and modalities of education, whether face-to-face, online or distance.
