At the present time it exists at national level in general and in the University of Pedagogic Sciences Enrique José Varona in particular, an important summary of results on environmental and energy education, for what it is necessary to instruct the environmental educators in the advances that are taking place in these areas, so that the new results and conclusions generate different changes in the educational and pedagogic practice. However, in occasions a systematizing that facilitates to understand doesn’t exist up to where you have arrived and which the continuity of other studies would be, limiting and making more complex the development of new investigations, with the one added that sometimes, they are proven topics and very similar results and lack is observed in others. The main objective is to identify the contributions and challenges of the doctoral theses of environmental education and energetics in the University of Pedagogic Sciences Enrique José Varona.
