Most of the problems of the environment that affect to the planet, are in occasions, result of the ignorance and indifference, to defend the necessities of the society, of their natural and cultural resources. An universal consent exists about that the economic growth should be seen with a new optics of justice, justness and opportunity, for the big majorities and not only for some privileged groups. For it, it is needed of a responsible environmental behavior and a change of mentality in the citizens, that which implies, a better understanding of the interaction among the natural, social and cultural processes, in those that is seen the human beings, as a component of the environment and not the center of the same one. The present article seeks to show an approach to the relationship, geographical education and environmental education.
