The scientific formation with discipline crossing is since a current necessity of the scientific research it is practically impossible to investigate a problem without the integration of the knowledge, to have integrated enough resources and to be able to act from all the fields of the science and to achieve the students of the educational institutions to be people formed integrally and with an interest marked in the scientific research, committed with the social development. However, one of the unchaining main elements of the scientific research and therefore, its formation, is to know the state in which is the problem to investigate with view to its possible solution. In the work that shows up it carries out a diagnostic study of the initial state of the scientific formation with discipline crossing of the students of half education of the department of Tolima, of the Republic of Colombia that leaves of the operacionalización of the investigative variable, what will allow the concretion of what to make to solve the detected difficulties
