The use of the Cultural Historical Approach (CHA) like psychological foundation in the course of Pedagogy for the graduate of the Institute of Pharmacy and Food (IPF) of the University of Havana who begins as a teacher, from the perspective of empowerment, as a continuous process, intersubjective and intentional. It is managed to enlarge the pedagogical preparation of the same one and there to proceed in the address of the integral formation of the students, to current challenges and, in turn, achieve motivation, well-being and personal improvement. The considerations that are employed in the conception and for development the course is the result of the bibliographic search carried out which permitted to identify various articles, books and theses related to the subject of interest. The experiences, skills and needs of future teachers are taken into account in the role as protagonist of their preparation and development. The participants carried out an evaluation of the course in the 2018 and 2019, editions, taking into account different aspects that were generally valued as coherent, satisfactory and current. As a conclusion, the need to conduit teachers in this direction is evident considering courses such as presented that assume the CHA due to their dialectical and innovative character.
