The conditions of scientific-technical development have demanded educational transformations in Cuba. From this perspective, the role that teachers with a master's degree have played in the methodological work of educational institutions becomes essential to successfully face the new challenges from each context in which they work. For all of the above, it is urgent to understand the need for the professionalization of the scientific-pedagogical performance that these professionals must assume from the profile achieved to demonstrate the required competencies. Hence the need for continuous and permanent training based on improvement actions: the course coordinated with the municipal improvement headquarters, the workshops and scientific debates for the preparation in the resource center of the popular council and for the differentiated attention in the educational institution, through processes of pedagogical advice from the workplace. The results achieved contributed to teachers with a master's degree becoming protagonists of their own development and scientific leaders for the rest of the group, which favored the professionalization of performance to meet the demands of the transformations of Cuban education.
