The objective of the work is to propose a specific methodological theoretical focus for the environmental diagnosis in centers of studies of Cuban universities with a view to the National Environmental Recognition, mainly in the relative thing with the environmental acting of the methodology for the Environmental Diagnosis. It combines different methodological and regulatory, international and national instruments, with 11 methodological steps on the base of the Cuban context and the NC ISO 14001:2015. The methodological proposal is flexible for what can be applied in other university centers of the organisms of the Cuban higher education and similar institutions in general. It is validated in the Center of Studies of Managerial and Territorial Development, Ability of Economic Sciences, University of Camagüey and published as key Elements of the environmental diagnosis of the Center of Studies of the Territorial and Managerial Economy in the year 2022, declared in the bibliographical references.
