Resumen

The objective of this work was to develop a strategy for the implementation of a didactic model for the teaching-learning of software design through the project method, among the contents of the Engineering and Software Management subject of the Health Information Systems career. A dialectical approach was adopted -also assumed as a philosophical basis, from which theoretical, empirical and mathematical-statistical methods and procedures were used. Based on the theoretical bases and previously defined principles, a didactic strategy structured in six actions aimed at preparing teachers and managers for the development of virtuality and research was developed. The proposal was materialized through specific actions, aimed at improving the training process in software design through a project, for the solution of professional problems of the students of the career under investigation.
