The objective of this study is to explain the social, economic and scientific repercussion that for the cooperation relations between Cuba and China represents the formation of translation competence in Sino-speaker students of the Degree in Spanish Language for Non- Speakers Spanish of the Faculty for Non- Speakers Spanish from Havana University. According to the current pedagogical trends, are taken the theoretical aspects related to the translation competence that made it possible to define translation competences and their training. Theoretical methods were used: historical-logical, analysis and synthesis, and inductive-deductive; and empirical methods: documentary analysis, observation, interview and consultation with experts. It is evident that the formation of these competences facilitates the graduate's efficient development in the labor market and guarantees the strengthening of bilateral relations between Cuba and China in the economic, scientific and social ambit.
