In Venezuela continues the Cuban resident training of Integral General Medicine within a different social context. To characterize the staff of the Integral General Medicine specialty from 2003 to 2006 in Bermudez municipality, Sucre State, a research study was conducted in whose development we used a qualitative and quantitative form, applying a survey among professors involved in training of graduates of this specialty; the greater representation by age was from 31 to 40 years old, of female sex and predominance of specialists with 14 years or more of experience. There was not a domain of Residency Program of Integral General Medicine; program was qualified as regular with some development of abilities in resident. For development of this program we used PC Pentium IV computer related to Windows XP 2003. Texts were processed using Word XP and tables and charts with Excel XP.
