To study in depth the didactic training of assistant students in the Medicine career of the Medical Sciences Branch in Bayamo province, four educational workshops were performed, two directed to the assistant students and two to tutors. We concluded that there are serious insufficiencies in the didactic training of these students affecting their professional academic training. The scarce systematization in the educational work of tutors with students and the poor didactic training of these ones led to the design of short and medium term for solution of these insufficiencies. We made a review of current rules of the "Frank País" Assistant Students Movement. The design of a professional educational model to training of these students is projected like an impact solution to found insufficiencies.
