The conditions, political social and especially educational for those that it crosses the Republic of Colombia and bigger even for the educational processes that are gestating, he/she takes to meditate on the pedagogic models and their influence in the way of professional performance of the educational ones, in the educational institutions, that which is outstanding, if the efforts are analyzed that are made to look for alternative that allow to solve the inconveniences that it faces the Colombian education at the moment and that they become evident in the way of performance of the educational ones. The present work approaches the social problem related with the necessity of meditating on the pedagogic models and its relationship with the way of professional performance of the educational ones in the Colombian educational context. It assumes as objective to analyze some of the relating ones that offer the social sciences for the study of the contemporary pedagogic models.
