The article embraces the life and the teacher's work Alicia Obaya Martínez like a paradigm of the teaching of the literature in the formation of educational in the University of Pedagogic Sciences: "Enrique José Varona". An experience endorsed by an uninterrupted work that one reveals in the identified contributions carried out in diverse areas like: the educational-methodological, investigative and extracurricular sphere, starting from the study of the Literature like mark of reference. It works educational example of the pedagogic tradition with which it counts the institution and sample the importance of the theses of historical profile as necessary tool in the educational investigation.
