Resumen
DO NASCIMENTO, Maria João Rangel. Sonas legends and art of the Lunda people: aids for teaching and learning. Varona [online]. 2023, n.77 Epub 30-Ago-2023. ISSN 1992-8238.
Education as a social phenomenon, transverses the life transit of the human being and overcomes him with the experience transmitted between generations, through diverse languages that express all his activity, his ways of survival and intellectual projection. In this sense, the objective of this work is to expose the use of Sonas art pieces from the village of Lunda, in Angola, as means of teaching-learning from elementary school to provoke a deep reflection around the identity manifestations. It highlights as an aspect of public and educational interest the historical relevance of the cokwe culture and its potential to contribute to the appropriation of knowledge, from its inclusion in the curriculum. It recognizes the relationship between art and mathematics, the vision of historical narration from orality and the didactic perception of the pieces. The study reveals the contextualization of cultural identity from the teacher's training that ensures social purposes, from the systematization of definitions inherent to the subject and the approach to the problems it suffers from. It is approached from a qualitative and descriptive dialectical-materialistic perspective that integrates theoretical and empirical methods.
