The dissemination of scientific knowledge allows research results to be known, discussed and disseminated by the academic community while ensuring that science has an active presence in the development of countries. In this sense, scientific journals currently constitute one of the main spaces for the dissemination and socialization of scientific and technical work carried out in universities, which are inescapably related to research, production and communication of knowledge. These are committed to generating research that has a social impact; and in this sense the dissemination of knowledge becomes one of the most important elements in the appropriation of research. In this environment, scientific journals have become one of the most important elements when evaluating the careers of academics and researchers, as well as their institutions.
