Thorough from the qualitative methodology, this work aims to explain the contribution of critical epidemiology to the understanding of the multidimensional causes of the current COVID-19 pandemic. Critical epidemiology allows studies to be carried out that lead to outlining in health policies, the diversity of situations by territories, cultural environments, hint and social vulnerabilities, with a view to providing responses that are more adjusted to each reality.
