Currently, most isolated electrical systems that include generation sources based on fossil fuels, are being modified by hybrid generation schemes, taking advantage of recent advances in the area of renewable energy sources that reduce environmental impact and reduce dependence. from the incessant fluctuation of hydrocarbon prices. This thesis work is framed within the field of electrical microgrids without connection to the distribution network, also called isolated microgrids. The work begins with a characterization of existing electrical panorama on the community that project is develop. Meanwhile, is done a characterization of the community in deed. Next, the case study of the technical economic feasibility of the implementation of a microgrid in the Cocodrilo community is developed, located in an isolated area belonging to the Isla de la Juventud Special Municipality. This study makes it possible to identify the most convenient variant of electricity supply and energy dispatch for the existing conditions in the target community. Finally, the results obtained are electrically validated
