The main objective of this work is to expose the learning results obtained at the group and institutional level from the development of the self-assessment and evaluation process in the Industrial Engineering career at the University of Cienfuegos. The different stages and the key factors that directly affect the quality and results of this process are analyzed explicitly, making possible the socialization of the set of accumulated knowledge and experiences. The documentary review, the observation, the application of questionnaires, the work with experts, as well as the descriptive analysis of data were tools applied during the study. The results presented constitute a valid reference for the staff’s work, which must guarantee and certify the quality of education processes from the regulations established in the Career Assessment and Accreditation System in Cuba.
